My Journey

I built my first website at 15, and over 20 years later, I'm still passionate about creating fast, effective websites that help businesses grow. My foundation in graphic design began at a local newspaper in Paris, Texas, where I learned the principles of layout, typography, and visual communication that I apply to web design today.

At PJ Trailers, I expanded my skills as a full-stack developer, building everything from their customer-facing website to custom dealer tools and manufacturing software. This enterprise-level experience taught me how to create robust solutions that serve both businesses and their customers effectively. After spending six years in Paris, France (where I met my wife and started our family), I returned to Texas with a global perspective on design and user experience.

Entrepreneurial Success

Beyond client work, I founded Vinyl Post, a subscription service that produces postcards that double as playable vinyl records. The service grew to over 2,500 monthly subscribers and was featured in Rolling Stone and Pitchfork. Through collaborations with brands like KFC, Capitol Records, and Sony Music, I learned how unconventional concepts can succeed with proper execution and marketing.

I also manage a YouTube channel (@indieplaylists) with over 330,000 subscribers and a music blog (BIRP.fm) with 600,000+ followers across social platforms. These ventures have provided valuable insights into content strategy, user engagement, and building lasting online communities.

Today, I specialize in building high-performance websites for small businesses. My experience running successful online ventures has taught me what truly drives results: speed, reliability, and conversion-focused design that helps your business grow.
