My Journey

My passion for web development and design started early—I built my first website at age 15, over 22 years ago. Since then, I've been constantly honing my craft, staying ahead of technology trends while maintaining a focus on timeless design principles.

My story continues in Paris, Texas, where I further developed my skills as a graphic designer for our local newspaper. There, I learned the fundamentals of layout, typography, and visual communication—skills that would later prove invaluable in web design.

This foundation led me to PJ Trailers, where I worked as a full-stack web developer. I designed and built their customer-facing website, developed custom dealer tools, and created specialized applications for their manufacturing line. This experience taught me how to create web solutions that serve both businesses and their customers effectively.

My journey then took an unexpected turn when I moved to Paris, France, where I spent six wonderful years. It was there that I met my wife, and we now have a beautiful baby girl. This international experience has given me a global perspective on design and business that influences my work today.

Entrepreneurial Success

My experience extends beyond client work. I'm the founder of Vinyl Post, an innovative subscription service that grew to over 2,500 monthly subscribers. What makes Vinyl Post unique is its creative fusion of digital and physical products—we produce postcards that double as playable vinyl records, combining unique branding with tactile experience. Featured in Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, the service has collaborated with major brands including KFC, Capitol Records, Universal Music, and Sony Music.

I also run a YouTube channel (@indieplaylists) with more than 330,000 subscribers and manage a music blog (BIRP.fm) with over 600,000 followers across social media platforms. These projects have given me deep insights into content strategy, user engagement, and building online communities.

Today, I'm focused on what I do best: building lightning-fast, custom websites for small businesses. My experience running successful online ventures has taught me exactly what businesses need to thrive in the digital space—speed, reliability, and results-driven design.
